Twee Boxer 200 GT met CCR 1000 voor Smet Group
Smet Group, based in Dessel (Belgium), is a leading and well-known player in Flanders in the field of geothermal energy. We are therefore proud to have recently added two Boxer 200 GT vertical drilling rigs to their fleet.
The Boxer 200 GT is specifically designed for geothermal drilling. It is no coincidence that Smet Group has chosen a powerful, robust and compact drilling rig – the best-selling rig in the Conrad Stanen range.
Both rigs are equipped with a CCR 1000 at the rear. CCR stands for Conrad Compact Reclaimer, a compact process water recovery system (desanding unit). This ensures a cleaner drilling process using significantly less water. Large washout ponds and drilling buckets are a thing of the past, and the drilled material can be removed in a dry state.
