SEEKS THE SMALL SPACES
The Boxer 60 GT is the entry-level geothermal energy model. It’s certainly the most manageable machine for geothermal energy drilling. This Boxer 60 GT isn’t just an incredibly compact drilling rig, it’s also extremely lightweight. But that doesn’t mean it’s less powerful.
The huge advantage of the Boxer 60 GT is that it can handle any location. Where the big boys give up, this small rig actually seeks space. It’s user friendliness makes it such an easy-to-use machine for home renovation projects, for example. Along tiny paths, between gardens or even lifted by crane over the roof or in a borehole. No problem.
Despite its compact size, it’s equipped with a manipulator system so you don’t need two for heavy manual work here either. The Boxer 60 GT’s total weight is just three tonnes making it easy to transport on trailers without needing a commercial licence. That’s ideal because these days we all need to be aware of staffing costs efficiencies.
The Boxer 60 GT is a much sought-after machine in the current market in which sustainability is central. We get that only too well, which is why this machine has a 3.5-metre stroke and 2.5-metre depth, a manipulator and radio control.
Operation convenience
The Scanreco operating system makes life so much easier for every drill operator. Operators can use the multi-functional controller for quick menu navigation on the eight-inch LCD monitor. The hi-res anti-reflection screen is always easy to read even when the sun’s shining and the updated layout provides a clear overview and amazing functionality.
The Boxer 120 GT can be equipped with various types of water pumps. For deep geothermal energy we recommend the extremely efficient Kubota 56 kW engine. This Boxer can also be used with the Preventer for cased drilling.
Kubota 56 kW
This machine is equipped with Kubota’s compact diesel engine with a capacity of 56 kW. Kubota engines are among the best in the world. This energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly product line meets all the latest emission requirements and delivers simply incredible performance. All Kubota engines up to 56 kW comply with stage 5 (V), without needing an SCR system or Ad Blue System, making them considerably more economical in purchase and use. The costs throughout the service life are also lower as Ureum is used, so filter replacement and associated maintenance are no longer needed.
