Overview

THE SMALL SURVEYOR THAT PACKS A PUNCH

The Boxer 60 GEO is an extremely compact diesel-hydraulic powered drilling rig for geological drilling. Mounted on a caterpillar chassis, this new compact and easy to control machine series is ideal for difficult terrain conditions. With radio control it is amazingly easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces and as it’s so lightweight, this Boxer 60 is also a doddle to transport.

This small rig is great for such things as pulse, auger, core and sonic drilling. Its versatility enables this machine to be used for both geological and environmental surveys as well as for drill monitoring and sprinkler wells. The Boxer 60 GEO is equipped with a CRT 219 rotation table.

Small but sweet; the Boxer 60 GEO. The most important features:

  • Lightweight
  • Performs well during pulse, auger, core and sonic drilling
  • Incredibly easy operation
  • Proven reliability
  • Solid and robust rig, despite is compact size
  • Mounted on a caterpillar chassis

Operation convenience

The Scanreco operating system makes life so much easier for every drill operator. Operators can use the multi-functional controller for quick menu navigation on the eight-inch LCD monitor. The hi-res anti-reflection screen is always easy to read even when the sun’s shining and the updated layout provides a clear overview and amazing functionality.

Kubota 56 kW

This machine is equipped with Kubota’s compact diesel engine with a capacity of 56 kW. Kubota engines are among the best in the world. This energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly product line meets all the latest emission requirements and delivers simply incredible performance. All Kubota engines up to 56 kW comply with stage 5 (V), without needing an SCR system or Ad Blue System, making them considerably more economical in purchase and use. The costs throughout the service life are also lower as Ureum is used, so filter replacement and associated maintenance are no longer needed.

The Boxer 60 GEO is also available as a full electric and 100% emission-free version.

The Boxer 60 GEO can also be equipped with a CRT rotation table. The rotation table is equipped with a hydraulically-driven casing clamp, mounted beneath the rotation table, to secure the casing during installation and removal. For smaller diameter casings, the clamp diameter can be adjusted using inserts.

There’s also an option to equip the rotation table with a quick-change system and hydraulic quick couplers for easy connection to the drilling rig. This quick-change system can also be used when the rotation table is installed on an existing drilling rig.
