Cordes Brunnenbau & Erdwärme GmbH was founded in 2007 by Bernd Cordes. The company is involved in well drilling and geothermal applications. In addition to performing various drilling techniques, Cordes also supplies and installs pump systems. All work is carried out by its own team using modern drilling rigs.

Cordes chose the Boxer 150 GT for its geothermal energy work. This drilling rig is specifically designed for geothermal energy. The Boxer 150 GT delivers a pull-up of 6000 daNm and a pull-down of 3000 daNm. The rig is equipped with radio remote control and a semi-automatic drill pipe manipulator. The weight of the rig is 9000 kg, excluding drill pipes.
