Conrad attracts international attention at Bauma 2025
From April 7 to 13, 2025, Conrad Stanen was at Bauma in Munich, the world's largest trade fair in the construction industry. The Dutch vertical drilling specialist from Emmeloord, which develops customer-specific drilling rigs for dewatering, geothermal energy, well drilling, and soil surveys, presented new innovations, generating a record number of new international leads in seven days. Interest came from all over Europe, but also from as far away as the US, Canada, and Australia. This is a confirmation that Conrad's innovations are catching on worldwide.
Innovations with one goal: smarter drilling
Full electric vertical drilling rig
Our Combi 300 E-GT is a powerful vertical drilling rig for geothermal energy that makes no noise, produces no emissions, and offers equal or even improved performance over its diesel variant. It runs on a battery pack of 3 x 125 kWh and delivers a pull-up of 15,000 DAN. Ideal for inner-city projects where environmental requirements are becoming increasingly stringent. Operating comfort as you would expect from us, but quieter, cleaner, and fully electric.

Desanding unit
Drilling mud is directly and constantly filtered with the CCR 1000, allowing the process water to be reused. Liquid capacity is up to 1.5 m³, with a throughput of 750 to 1,000 liters per minute. Sand, clay, and gravel are dry-separated up to 6 tons of solids per hour. The desanding unit can be built behind the vertical drilling rig, or it can run standalone. With the CCR 1000, large settling basins are unnecessary. Clean, fast, and cost-saving, especially for series drilling.
Double Drill Head
Our double drill heads for geothermal energy, the Boxer 200 DA and Combi 300 DA, also attracted a lot of attention. With a pull up to 18,000 DAN, torques of 0 - 33,000 Nm and revolutions between 0 - 220 rpm, the double drill head places drilling and casing tubes in one smooth motion. This saves time, prevents downtime and makes drilling in rough or unstable ground layers much easier.

Compact installations
Our compact vertical drilling rigs, such as the Boxer 60 GT for geothermal energy and Boxer 60 GEO for Soil Survey, proved their worth in the small. These drilling rigs were specially developed for inner-city work. With a width of only 80 cm and a length of 515 cm, the Boxer 60 maneuvers effortlessly through a garden gate or narrow passageway.

Global growth
The interest shows that the demand for efficient, sustainable drilling technology is growing rapidly internationally: Everyone is looking for smart solutions to today's challenges: fewer emissions, less space, higher speed. That's exactly where our innovations sit. Bauma confirmed: we are drilling internationally.
Leading in technology and applicability
Conrad continues to invest in practical innovations that move the drilling world forward. The strong international interest at Bauma 2025 underlines the need for reliable, future-proof solutions. With emission-free drilling, time-saving on site and smart use of space, Conrad offers what the market demands. Ready for new collaborations, worldwide.
